Paradise Area and Hiking

Our webcams include views from the Paradise area at 5,400 feet elevation — one of the snowiest places on Earth, recording a world-record 1,122 inches of snowfall in the 1971–72 season. The Skyline Trail from Paradise offers a 5.5-mile loop with stunning views of the Nisqually Glacier and surrounding peaks. Climbing and Glaciers

Mount Rainier attracts over 10,000 climbing attempts annually, with roughly half reaching the summit via the Disappointment Cleaver route. Our Camp Schurman webcam shows conditions on the mountain's upper slopes, useful for climbers planning their ascent from the north side.

Road Conditions
